Our experience was very positive. Clinton is easy to work with and went the extra mile to make sure we would be pleased with the final results. My daughter and I watched the videos together of my grandfather's interviews and we were both riveted. It sparked a lot of conversation as we learned new things about him and my grandmother we may never have known. He was able to tell in his own words how they met and how much she meant to him. I believe Clinton made him feel at ease during the interviews and captured his personality perfectly, his humorous side and his sentimental side. I think he really appreciated being able to tell his story too, just as much as we did. The quality of the work is excellent and we are proud to be able to give the DVDs out to family, and even looking forward to passing them on to the next generation.

While I had some ideas of the early days of my parents, the stories that they shared kept their grandchildren engrossed for a couple of days straight.

The CD format was great as we could listen to it as we drove around during the holidays. When I had the radio tuned to a local radio station, one of the kids quickly scrolled over to the CD so that they could listen to stories of their grandparents.....from early childhood, through the years to where they currently find themselves and beyond.

The obvious relaxed setting of the interviews allowed a side to emerge that we seldom see.....much as an acquaintance might see when they first meet, which allows you to relate to them more like a companion than a parent or grandparent. The style allows you to step back and when the parental filter is removed, you discover another layer to the individual.

I now have an archive to treasure........as will my children and my children's children. This is truly a gift that continues to "give" each time it is played, and much like a favorite film, you stumble across nuance that had evaded your ear in the times that you had played it before.

Thank you for preserving that which can be so easily lost for all of time.
