As St. Anthony Catholic Church in Bryan, Texas approached its 125th anniversary jubilee, church leaders recognized an opportunity to preserve and celebrate the people, traditions, and spirit that shaped generations of parishioners. Founded by Italian immigrants, St. Anthony remained deeply meaningful to longtime families while welcoming new families and cultures into their beloved community.

Premiered as the centerpiece of the jubilee celebration, the film reflected how the church's traditions and identity endure through the voices and stories of both old timers and newcomers alike. The 30-minute St. Anthony Catholic Church feature film weaves generations and cultures into a cohesive narrative celebrating the enduring spirit of the parish community. As the film premiered during the jubilee celebration, parishioners nodded, laughed, and cried together as their beloved church community was showcased before their eyes.

Meet Your Legacy Filmmaker

Clinton Haby is a legacy filmmaking pioneer who has been establishing and elevating the legacy film industry since 2009. Recognizing his retelling of his grandparents' stories was a disservice to their spirit, Clinton sought to capture their energy and stories in the magic of the first person perspective. Initially, Clinton was his own client. With no template to follow, creating a legacy film business from scratch was a long and difficult path, but listening to client desires and studying all the areas of specialization that go into this work made StoryKeeping a sustainable business. Clinton is fascinated by people, intrigued by what makes them tick, and loves helping folks talk through everything that makes life worthwhile.
